JEFF CARROLL
Jeff Carroll is a coach at heart, with over 40 years of experience coaching individuals in multiple areas of life. His greatest passion is helping people achieve a lasting legacy in their lives.
He started his coaching career as a high school teacher and head high school volleyball coach, earning 12 State Titles and Montana Coach of the Year 12 times. He was inducted into the Montana Coaches Hall of Fame in 2009 and was awarded the National High School Athletic Coaches Association Coach of the Year in 2010. The American Volleyball Coaches Association named him the National Co-Coach of the Year in 2011, and he was again honored by the National High School Athletic Coaches Association when they inducted him into the Hall of Fame in 2015.
That kind of success does not come easy, or without fierce dedication. Jeff took the time to develop a vision for each season as well as a mission statement that guided his players on and off the court. His players not only developed volleyball skills that earned nearly 100 of them collegiate scholarships, but they learned about honoring their competition, staying humble, and leading with class. What mattered most was ultimately what his players took away from the program when the season was over. That’s legacy.
Jeff’s passion for personal development and leadership coaching grew out of his love for teaching and coaching. He developed a leadership class at the High School where he taught for 30 years and had the opportunity to facilitate leadership growth in high school students. Part of his inspiration for the class grew out of his involvement in the Global Leadership Summit for nearly 20 years, and since then he has never looked back.
After retiring from his job as a high school teacher and volleyball coach, he dove into the world of personal growth and development by achieving not only an Advanced Certificate in Executive Coaching from Townsend Institute, but also an MA in Organizational Leadership and Development. He has been a Townsend Leadership Program (TLP) leader since 2015 and has led 19 groups through the integrated leadership experience. Jeff has experience coaching individuals, businesses, and non-profits, helping them achieve success by assessing their needs and walking them through an integrative process of growth to help them create a lasting legacy in their personal and work arenas. Jeff is certified in Strengthsfinder, Immunity to Change, EQ-I 2.0, and MBTI. He is also the creator of the brand-new Leadership for Legacy Program, which was launched in 2022. Jeff’s philosophy is built on his belief that everyone is a leader, which is why he is passionate about coaching people in all areas of life.
Jeff is a devoted husband to his wife, Kim, of 40 years, a father to 5 grown children and is affectionately known as “Pops” to 12 grandchildren ages 6 and under (you read that right). When he is not coaching individuals, you will find him spending quality time with family, reading (and highlighting) a book, or traveling with his wife, Kim, to see his kids and grandkids.
